| I can't wait for November 29th. Sigler is doing a huge sale for the holidays with 10%-50% off of everything. I'm not sure how much the CCPBH is going to be, but they showed that the Amici cymbals are going to exclusively for Blue Monday, $168. Woot! But yea, I'm a little worried about their stock. I am planning on purchasing my CCPBH in sunset burst on Blue Monday, but I'm not sure it'll be in stock on time.. Thus, I will be lucked out for the greatest sale of all time... =[
Also, any information on any new updates with the hardware/drums? I think I remember reading from Pearly that their coming along with new lacquer finishes? =O Any clue on what those colors will be? |

| Hey don..
Be patient.. I know it's a killer.. but the PBH kits are on their way.. Keep checking in at Sigler.. or check back here as well, as I will have updates. For finishes, all that I can attest to is that there are probably going to be more finishes released in the new year.. as to which ones?? That is hush-hush.. ccdrummerforum has the official inside scoop... Stay tuned.. _________________ Pearl and Sonor drums l mapex hardware l zildjian cymbals

Hey man..
At this time, I don't have much information. I will safely assume that there are some PBH kits in assorted finishes. Those kits are insanely popular and Sigler has a tough time keeping those kits on the shelf for very long.
Didn't you buy a kit from a major manufacturer recently?
Taken from the News..Sigler Music center thread...:
"... I was also afraid that maybe this was a fly by night flash in the pan drum company that was going to fold up and when things break on the set you would not be able to get replacement parts for it. for me once I wrote these guys off I found the pearls and just could not resist they looked a little bit rough but that inner voice just said buy them you wont be sorry. I got them home and took them apart and cleaned and polished them and they came up like brand new. the previous owner used furniture polish on them. bad move for a laquer finish. anyways you cant go wrong on the pdp platniums man they are a nice set !!! hey extreme their loss can be your gain".[/i] _________________ Pearl and Sonor drums l mapex hardware l zildjian cymbals

| I just got a reply back from Sigler. Their not going to have any other finishes other than Cherry in stock in time for Blue Monday.. =[
Joplin was kind enough to allow me to purchase the Sunset Burst whenever the finish comes in stock although, and he'll dock the 15% off too. I just have to let them know when I order it. So its a win that I can still get the discount, but a lose still, because I'm going to have to go another who knows how long without the CCPBH =[ |

| That's good news Don.. I am confident that as the popularity for CCs grows, the supply will follow the demand. Sux that you won't have your kit as soon as you'd like, but it's cool that the fine folks at Sigler are willing to work with you. _________________ Pearl and Sonor drums l mapex hardware l zildjian cymbals

I would check with Jeremy.. I am assuming they will be back in stock at some point as they are still in the product line up. There is a full array of colors in the Pro Birch 5 pc kits. One of those may find it's way into my arsenal at some point. That silver glass fade is saawwweeet! _________________ Pearl and Sonor drums l mapex hardware l zildjian cymbals

| ya, the 7pc is the set that originally got me interested in these cc's. then boom! gone! and no...there will be zero 7pc cc's on this next shipment, jeremy said it could be back by jan. or later-he wasn't real sure about it. also talked to him about the cinch nut problem again...he said he never heard of that problem...again. i told him just take a look on the forum site and you will see. also mentioned to him the squeaky wheel gets the grease and he needs to talk to steve about it, he said he would check into it. pearly, have you ever had any troubles with the tom mounts on the hybrid? (sliding downward, working loose, etc.?) just wondering.

I had also been in conference with Steve Lane concerning the plastic cinch nut on the snare stand basket and he agreed that that was a silly design. I had previously spoken to Chris Ward Sigler's GM, and he was intent on bringing this design flaw up in his last visit to the CC assembly line in Tianjin China. I will be in communication with Steve and Chris after the holidays for more info updates.
I have experienced 0 problems with any ball mount or bracket mounts on the CCs, Hybrids or PBJ. The snare stand is solid for me and while the cinch nut for the basket tension is indeed plastic.. it's holding it's own and is in no way a deal breaker. That is not to say that it won't become problematic as time and set up - tear down goes.
I am confident that these issues are being addressed and that the 7pc Pro Birch kits will be back in the mix before too long.

| Yeah, my snare stand is the same. The big black plastic nut kinda shaped like a star that clinches down on the snare to hold it in place. I haven't had any problems with it so far either. But then again I don't gig with the kit, not that I could the way it sits right now anyway. I would need Himalayan Sherpa's to cart it around. _________________ customdrummer moderator
