I think that what makes him so special is that he is so dynamic in his style. They don't call him the professor for nothing. I don't know of any other drummer that can play in concert and play pretty much note for note EVERY TIME they play live. A lot of people don't like that fact cause they want diversity and a bit of a change in live performances. But to me, the ability to be able to play a concert that sounds just like the album, is a testament of a true professional and a master of his craft. Just amazing. Oh, someone should tell Mr. Peart to sit up straight when he plays....but not me of course. Someone else.
