Thanks Rick.. the drums are really surprising! I tried some Remo coated Ambs and they sound like a great jazz kit ought to. Not my cup at the moment, however. I am going back to my Emporer smooth whites.
I also put a Remo PS3 coated reso on the kick. I hated to take away the cool looking CC logo, but I wanted to see if it was at all possible to wring any more tone from this already power packed lil kick.. It is!! WOW!!!
Taking the PBJ out to rehearsal tomorrow with my new dream cymbal set up and the new 16" Wuhan china I just picked up today! Slamorama!!

Tried out the coated Ambs on the tom batter side.. and..nawww.. not for me. great if you were playing more jazzy stuff.
I slapped the Smooth white emps back on.. and tuned them low. POW! that was the ticket!

| Ive been interested in dream cymbals. what do you think of them? how do they sound? wich ones do you have. I want the 24" contact small bell ride that thing sounds sweeeet and probably some 15 or 16" hats |

Hey bro.. check out my CCPBH sound demo.. Those cymbals are all dream (except the splashes are Wuhan)
I put up annotations showing what cymbals are what.. I used to play all super high end Zildjians and swapped the all out for my dreams.. never looked back! take a listen to them here with the PBH
